The anti-street harassment activist Ghaidaa al-Absi founded the Safe Streets Campaign after experiencing daily occurances of sexual harassment on the streets of Yemen.
She proposed the idea to Tactical Tech and created an electronic map where women can report and map their stories of harassment. This collection of data helps to detect the hot spot streets and to put pressure on decision makers to form laws to punish harassers.
